Will the pharmacy let me up[grade to vicodin from darvocet ?

i choose darvocet for post op pain due to my two kids and it wasnt cutting it so she said she would call in vicodin will the pharmacy fill it ? (let you if you allready had one pain med and its not working im afraid ill get a call from the pharmacy saying no HELP

Yes they will because it is a different narcotic.  In fact I have had them fill my vicodin when I went from 5 mg to 10 mg as long as it is not the same exact medication they will definitely fill it

Actually, Vicodin is a weaker narcotic that Percoset.  Now, if your MD will prescribe Percoset as your base narcotic, and Vicodin to take care of any breakthrough pain--that may help.
