  1. Smoke less crack or more weed.


  2. No.  Even  if the earth was in "pieces" then the gravity field would be decreased and we would not have an atmosphere, either.  Further, the fireball and "nuclear winter" of an impact would probably cause human extinction whether or not the earth was cleaved into pieces.
