Will the pitch allow the India-SriLanka match to be as interesting as England-SA?

Salaam to all my sisters and brothers,

I hope you are all keeping well.

The England-SA match was a very interesting match. Will you call it THE most interesting test match of the year?

Do you think the India-SL match will be equally interesting. Tomorrow the new spin sensation from SL (Mr Mendis) will try to attack Indian batsmen on a turning wicket, correct? Is the pitch becoming more amenable to spin now?

Rehmann Bhai, Adaab Araz hai, India would be bowled out for around 300 and it is shutters down for Sri Lanka in the 4th innings!

Bhajj and Kumble will clean them up!

however i'm again not happy with the proceedings in Sri Lanka, there are various things which are going against India, i would not like to go into intricate details as we have been accused as whingers, but everyone can see it what's happening there with umpiring, Mahela's prolonged appeals and referrals, time waste in the test match on first day on recommendation of Mahela of wet outfield, slow and negative batting and play by Mahela, packing one side of fields, etc., bowling negative lines and wides off the off stump, playing in bad light while Sachin and Dravid were batting!

Edit: yes, there is a fear of pitch slowing down and turning into batsman favour but the spin will be persisting, Bhajji is a flight bowler and a target of 350 will be almost curtains for Sri Lanka in 4th innings!

For me this match will be interesting if both teams are willing to take risks and COMPETE to win.

I hope it's not a one sided match, where murali and mendis take a heap of wickets and Sri lanka go out there and bat with ease. I'm a strong Sri Lanka fan and i want Sri Lanka to win. But with the bat we haven't really been tested of late because we have the Murali and Mendis weopon. I want to see our batsmen having to fight just as hard as the Indian batsmen. That's when we'll have a match.

Freddie bowled his heart out to make the match interesting on a flat track but thanks to solid smith for a wonderful captains knock.

Congrats to both the teams for a good game of cricket.

SL has to chase 308 on a spinning track to win the series it is difficult but not impossible.

India squaring the series is very much on the cards and hope the better team wins.

Salaam Rehman Bhai,

Hope all is well. The pitch will play a crucial role in today's match. The cracks have began to open up and from now and the spinners will have to perform well. The pitch has gone a bit slow and this will  assist our Indian batsman play spin. My best wishes to the Indian cricket team, hopefully they have learnt their lesson from the previous match and we will put up a great fight and be victorious.

I agree with Ashish, things have gone against India in this match. For example, I didn't feel Rahul Dravid was out. The ball pitched outside off stump. But whatever happens is for the best. I will not question God's will.
