Will the power head off of a 125 force L-drive fit on a 85hp seized outboard? Are manuals on line to download?

the power head will most likely fit, but i do not think that the drive unit will be capable of taking the extra power. there should be information and manuals on line just look for them. you will need to know the mounting bolt pattern and distances between bolt hole centers to find if the power head will fit.

I am pretty sure that power head from the 125 will bolt on to the 85 mounting holes.There may be some minor things that are different.

Make sure that you install a new Impeller in the lower unit to be sure that it is getting enough water for cooling.As for manuals,if you google

outboard manuals you will find the one that you need.Good luck.
