I would love to see how much money he is making on his oil wells and shares in the Oil Companies........but, of course, that's not disclosed.

  1. the price of gas will settle at $6 a gallon.  However the mpg on a vehicle will increase.  The xcar now gets 300 mpg. So until you learn to be thrifty you deserve to pay $8 a gallon.  Be prepared to walk, ride a bike, a scooter, a motorbike, drive a small car.  Hydrogen fuel cell, the only thing you can afford, 1 gal, $1 dollar, 300 miles.

  2. When Bush is replaced in office, anyone who believes that the price of gas will go down will be either shocked into reality or have a room in the world of make believe.Oil costs are made by many factors.Bush isn't one of them.Just vote for Oh!Bama and see which way the price of oil goes. Sangria la isn't where he is coming from.Even with cutting down usage of imported oil from OPEC ,they have buyers elsewhere in the world who will be happy to buy it..

  3. I'm going to cry, I think.

Why is oil so hard for people to understand?  It's a commodity, it's not controlled by the US, and the White House (despite rumors to the contrary) doesn't have a big valve in the basement that controls a pipeline of profits.

Blame China, blame investors for betting against the US dollar, and blame OPEC for tightening the supply, while telling the world that they're supplying "more than enough" to satisfy demand.

Watch how oil and the US dollar are related.  Think the President is doing this?  No, my dear, the WORLD is doing this.  I'm not sure if that satisfies your need for a scapegoat, but it's the truth.

  4. Not immediately. But once the economy begins to rebound, the value of the dollar will start to go back up, and the price per barrel of oil will go down accordingly. This will eventually bring gas prices back down. Probably never to where they were, but lower than they are now.

  5. You really need to get a clue.

President Bush cannot disclose what percentage of his investments are in oil related stocks simply because: He does not know himself!

In 1995 the then Governor Bush placed all of his investments in a blind trust where they are managed without him knowing where or how his money is invested.  Instead he is only given the minimum information necessary for him to file his taxes.  His money has remained in this trust to this day.

Maybe you should try learning more instead of making unfounded accusations that only may you look ignorant.

  6. proud what u mean their profits isnt that much u krazy mobil said yesterday that they cleared after everything was 10.89 billion and that isnt much i dont know what your use to making, and yes clinton did veto but we wouldnt be in this freaking mess except bush helped put us here

  7. well no he not god, even if you want to blame him he`s not to blame for everything

  8. I am so sick of hearing about this.  The president has NOTHING to do with the price of gas.  Just as the oil companies profit is not that large.  Yes the number is quite large, but you have to look at the percentage which I think is something around 7-8% profit margin.  Which in comparison to other companies is quite small.  I think everyone in the country needs to go to some sort of class to teach them how things work because I'm so sick of there moronic questions

    and answers.

If you want someone to blame, blame Bill Clinton who vetoed the bill to drill for oil in Anwar.

  9. I doubt it.

Are you buying into the propaganda?

  10. Doubtful.  Prices inflate over time and RARELY/NEVER go back to their past levels.  Sorry.

  11. doubt it.  i dont think Bush is reallt o blame for the high prices but our dependance on it and the fact that it is running out now.

  12. dream on...its never gonna be cheap again....

  13. No the prices won't go down. They will probably jump. Bush even if oil man hasn't go the control you suggest. Congress and OPEC are the ones that got the prices so high at the moment. Congress with taxes per gallon and OPEC with greed. We can gain some control by not using, and not as hard as you think just cut your usage down by 33% and it will make a statement. Also stop voting for someone who is not going to help.
