  1. No it willl not go down.  I think by the end of this year we will be seeing almost $10 a gallon gas. but after that i think people will definetly start exploring new ideas and new fluids to filll our tanks with instead of gas.

  2. hmm, good question.

while others want to point to lame excuses such as wall street greed, let me tell you the real reason gas is expensive.

there is this unconstitutional (yes, that's right. read article 1 sections 8 and 10 of the constitution) organization called the Federal Reserve and it is led by a guy named ben bernanke.

ben likes to print money and is doing this as fast as he can so that he can bail out his buddies on wall street. ben is not a nice person.

so anyhow, we have been printing money as fast as we can, and as one can expect, inflation makes the dollar go down in value.

you see, gas is not expensive, but rather the dollar is cheap.

the price of gas will not go down until we abolish the federal reserve and restore our country to constitutional sound money.

    WE NEED SOUND MONEY!!!!!!!!

  3. They'll go down when we rid our dependence of foreign oil or we explore and implement alternate forms of energy.

  4. Its going to take time

My best guess is the late summer, early fall of 2011, that's the time it will take before production will be higher than demand.

2 things are happening right now and its happening more and more, #1 people are conserving using less, driving less and buying fuel efficient cars.

#2 as the price of crude oil increases it becomes more profitable to invest money to drill and produce more

  5. I don't think you will ever see it go down.

  6. No.In fact the total opposite is being predicted. All the experts say gas will be way over the $6.00 mark before the summer is over.

  7. The price as gas has mostly gone UP because of wall street speculator (greed).

So if the commodity crash, it will go back down a little.

    Good Luck...

P.S.  we don't need to keep drilling for more oil.  We have enough pollution and global warming.  Drilling for more oil, is like pissing in your own bath water - quicker but dirty.  No mattery how much more supply we generate, we wil use it up (the price will stay high).  The only way to decrease the price for the long term is to reduce the demand (conserve).

  8. I pay close to $4.50 gal for gas in Chgo...I really have no hope of them going down (since I would never believe they would go this high..!) Thankfully, I don't drive a lot -only for errands & shopping.

  9. Yes and also nope.

The yes is when the U.S. government can finally gain the permission to build an oil well in the Upper Northern Alaska Territory. There's a lot of oil there. But, it would destroy the nature. U.S. has been fighting for this for a long time.

The nope is the War of Iraq.

If you are concerned. You can get a Lumero, an European car. It will come out in 2009 and 2010. It is tiny. 153 miles per gallon! Check it out on the internet.
