i have one and yes it will pump about 6-10 times depending on distance and use good pellets

IMO the Daisy 880 would be a better choice than the Crosman 760. The extra 125fps you get from the 880 makes a huge difference.

The 880 & 760 are both available at Wal-Mart and are nearly identical in price. The 880 comes with a scope(inexpensive one obviously) for about $5 more.

If you want a Crosman, look at the 2100.

i tried with over 6 different pellets at 10 pumps at 25 feet and nothing worked the only the the 760 is good for in my eyes is the ocassional mouse

On my experience you'll need at least 750 fps to kill a pigeon and that is within 50 feet range. I'll suggest Daisy 901 or Crosman Remington Air Master 77. Pumpmaster 760 will kill a pigeon if you hit it in the neck or head or if you can break the wing of the pigeon.
