Question:

Will the recent changes in gasoline usage create a change in global warming?

Planes are being grounded, people are using mass transit in record numbers, even the police are using bicycles and such all due to the increase of gasoline. How much of an effect will this have on global warming? And what about next winter when people and businesses seek out ways to reduce their heating costs? Will this too affect global warming?

  1. no, the Sun is the main cause of global warming

  2. The science points out that a reduction on the use of oil and coal will slow down Global Warming.

But, considering that the temperature increases in ocean temperature is less that a tenth of a degree per year, will we notice? I do not think so, But, it will get worse more gradually.

Floods in New Orleans, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Burma and elsewhere are not clearly linked to Global Warming, GW makes them worse, that is all!

We need a disaster ten times greater than the one in Burma to get the attention of the world. Something with the impact of the earthquakes in China to get the attention of the world.

But, the science also predicts that when we get that kind of a signal, the acceleration in global temperatures will be too high for people to stop GW.

Even if we stopped ALL Carbon Emissions, absolutely ALL Emissions of Carbon, the same sacience that explains GW also implies that it will continue on its own until we reach the Equilbrium Temperature with the Sun radiation, well above 300 deg Faherenheit, approaching but less than the temperature of Venus, 486 Deg. F.

Silver Lining: World population will decline on its way to Zero Population due to starvation and lack of water to drink.

  3. Uh, NOPE.

  4. NONE! Al Gore and the U.N. failed to tell us where all this greenhouse gas is coming from! 94 to 96 percent is from natural causes! It will get worse! There will be more undersea earthquakes and thus more giant waves killing many! The two culprits that are making the CO2 and the sulfur products are volcanoes and earthquakes.. These are predicted to increase, many fold! At present, the prediction, right now, is at least 94% is of natural occurance! Tell that to the internet inventer, Al Gore! These are real scientists and not cronies of the U.N.! "Al, get out the cement trucks and fill in those volcanoes!" We have not heard the last from Alfie! He will be back disturbing us with another lie, by not telling the facts! Earl

  5. If we stopped emitting CO2 today, it would have almost no short term effect.  I doubt if it would have any significant long term effects either.

  6. No.  GW is a hoax.

    My 2 cents.
