  2. Absolutely--and the state of Texas will uphold whatever the NC court rules...and if he somehow gets out of paying, such as working under the table, etc. whenever he is due a tax return, it would be garnished by NC and it would come to you....

Since the 1970s, states have resolved interstate child support cases through the Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act (URESA).  It applies to all states.  So, no matter in which state the child support obligation is established and no matter to which state the obligor runs, the states cooperate to enforce child support orders.

    The U.S. has several treaties so that child support can be enforced in some other countries.
