  1. bring them to NYknicks...waive SMarb pls..

  2. They should, after the last season coming off the summer game the both looked bad. Barbosa missed too many lay-ups. Barbosa played hard for his country and looked tired.

  3. I'm thinking Golden State might want to pick them up for Al Harrington.

  4. They Should trade DIAW but noit LEanardo!

  5. they should, neither of them really helps the team that much.  barbosa just a small quick shooting guard whos not a great scorer and gets no one else involved.  diaw is a small pf with some passing abilities and thats about it.  they have been trying to trade them, but i dont think theyre getting anything they want out of it.

  6. They have been trying but there are no takers.

  7. I agree with the first answer

  8. They should and they have been exploring feasible options, but so far there is neither good news nor valuable return appeared.

I agree that D'Antoni's reluctance to utilize the full depth of his bench made Leandro Barbosa fatigue during last post-season, yet the key is Barbosa proves himself as a shoot-first off-guard and an emergency-only PG, and I don't think he has strong competitive edge other than footspeed, not to mention he has yet to do enough to force turnover. I don't even see Barbosa as a better Cuttino Mobley - at least in defensive intensity, Barbosa is below-par (Mobley has a higher career average in SPG than Barbosa, plus an impressive 0.4 BPG in his career).

Boris Diaw is a luxury version of Luke Walton with better scoring, rebounding and capability to manage 3 or even 4 different positions (oh yes he did play SG). I am always confused for seeing the same physical body with two completely different mentality playing for Suns and Frence National Basketball Team, respectively. I would say he is more a SF than PF but he plays bigger than his size (and Luke Walton is more a PF - his footspeed can match the likes of Jason Kapono or Steve Novak only), and I wonder if somebody can motivate Diaw swtiching to Anthony Mason mode, or else he is just paving his way back to Europe because he is mentally soft.

So what should Suns do to kick them out? For Barbosa, Suns could even trade him for a risky Jamaal Tinsley. The rationale is: get Steve Nash more loose in offense and give him a radiator playing next to him and/or backing him. It sounds stupid on paper, but Phoenix could make a steal on youngsters like Shawne Williams in the deal.

For Diaw, it is more complex. My best guess is Suns should try to talk with Bulls for trading Diaw given Bulls have tons up assets available for trade, especially when Bulls are eager to trade Andres Nocioni.

  9. i think the jazz should take barbosa because they might get ben gordan to
