  1. This supreme court has seen fit to rule against the constitution in several of its recent decisions.

They appear to be more in line with world or European morals than upholding the U.S. constitution.

The congress no longer writes laws, the court writes laws.

When Lincoln ignored the supreme court because they were trying to run the country during a war, he was correct, and we  may be getting close to that point now.

  2. people will just buy guns illegially and the government wont be able to tax them, also crime will not be reduced because of the ban people will still kill other people except now it wont be a bullet to the head but a rock

  3. I think that they will restrict it and they have every right to. The second amendment does not exist so you and your buddies can go hunting or so that people can buy handguns to shoot each other. The Second Amendment exists so that we have the power to overthrow the government if the need arises.

  4. With this court who knows.

My guess they are going to go for the 2nd Amendment rather than against it.

  5. As long as we are willing to let them.  If we are not going to stand up and get rid of the officials responsible for appointing these judges then why should we complain.

  6. Only if it pertains to right wing conservative radio.

  7. Nope. They just ruled, as any intelligent american already knew, that the US Constitution protects the rights of ALL americans to possess guns. This ruling will have profound effects on anti gun laws throughout the US. Essentially, states will have to allow unlimited access by law abiding citizens to guns and the right to carryfor self defense.

The Supreme court has ruled that in the same way the Govt can not restrict your 1st ammendment rights, they can not restrict your right to bear arms.

Then again, those of us with logic understood that from day one. A right is a right. If it only pertained to "militias" then it would not be a right. Thank God the supreme court finnaly put this matter to bed, once and for all. Americans have the unrestricted right to own, possess and carry guns and the govt can't restrict it no more than they can restrict your religous rights, speech rights etc...
