Will the theater become dominant over movies and TV?

What are the advantages of live theater over Hollywood with movies and TV?

Theater is a different art form and doesn't really compete with movies and TV.  It has advantage of greater intimateness, actors and audience make a greater connection.  Also, because a play can be produced on a shoestring it doesn't have to appeal to a mass audience and can be more intellectual and artistic, and experimental.
