We really don't know at this point. Also, it depends on what you mean by "the Universe comes to an end"? For example, it is certain that the Universe will continue to expand for the next trillion trillion years to a size far beyond what we can possibly imagine, and all the stars will by then have all died out, and all life have ceased to exists. Is that considered an end of the Universe? Well, not really. The Universe still exists.

Given what we know right now, that's the fate of the Universe: forever expanding and completely filled by darkness and frigid temperature.

But who knows what will happen after that? Perhaps other bubbles (called false vacuums) will spontaneously nucleate into existence (this is equivalent to quantum tunneling...just a matter of probability) and create other new Universes within our own.

So do any Universe actually ever end? Who knows...
