  1. I'm not worried about it yet

  2. Inflation will not be very bad in the future.  It will get better.  Its not exactly awesome now, but it will get better.  The dollar will still have good worth in 2 years and in years to come.  There is no fear needed.  I am concerned, but I have faith.  Things will improve and our country has been through worse.  Besides, as another user pointed out, our inflation rate is not extremely high (I don't disagree that things are not so good.  However, I just don't think that inflation is as bad as the media and others have said it is).

  3. Ok, based on your question I think you think that inflation is gonna be really bad, but I'm gonna try to answer this a different way, so at least consider what I'm trying to say.

I think the problem is not as bad as you think it is. The Federal Reserve targets inflation to be between 1 and 2 percent right now, which is pretty good for the United States.

Although you may be right in the fact that the Fed is stretched thin with interest rates, and that the current state of stagflation is gonna produced increased inflation, I don't think it'll be as bad as you think.

We're not a Latin American country where 5% is good and 30% is normal. And it's not hyperinflation we're talking about.

And to answer your second question, the rule of inflation is: Borrowers Benefit, Lenders Lose. So banks, corporations and individuals who have a lot of lent out securities are gonna suffer.

  4. dont be stupid

    inflation in america is 1.5%

    in india 11%

    in peru 28%

in zimbabwe 9 million % (haha)

So nothing is going to happen

  5. Due to the Fed's expansion of the money supply, done to help cover the deficit spending and our impossible national debt, the dollar is crashing.  It doesn't seem possible to stop the collapse.

Most of us are going to be really hurt.  Even the rich who are holding dollars may suddenly join the ranks of the poor.

The true rate of inflation is already about 16%, and on a drastic upward curve.
