Will the use of sunglasses have any beneficial effect on an epiretinal membrane?

  1. As far as I am aware only eye surgery will improve your vision. Since an ERM makes images distorted, of poor quality and reduced colour difference I doubt sunglasses will improve the vision, I'd imagaine they'd make it worse.

    I don't think sunlight worsens ERMs either, it's usually caused by injury or infection.
