Prices are driven by supply and demand, which means that if a lot of people are looking for a 32-inch Vizio HDTV and there aren't many available, then the price won't drop - it may even rise.  But if a newer, better model with more bells and whistles comes along and the retailers can't sell their remaining stock of 32-inch Vizios, they may drop the prices.
