Will the widespread use of female suicide bombers lead to Gender Equality in Islamic countries?

Sooner or later someone is bound to notice a cognitive dissonance between the fact that it's ok dor a woman to blow herself up in Public and the fact that it's equally ok for that same woman to beat beaten, raped and thrown in prison for driving a car.

It can't be that much harder for a woman to blow herself up at the Saudi Morality Police or a group of reactiomary Mullahs.

In those countries, women are expendable.  They might be told that they either do the suicide bomber thing or be tortured to death.

I cannot conceive of a society that places no value on human life.

There will not be equality in the sexes in the Middle East which is a main reason why the society there is so destructive.  It's a good lesson for other societies that are gender unbalanced.

In an odd way the answer is yes, yet many seem to think they have to rush over there straightaway and rescue them. See, as cruel as this suicide bombing is those women have taken a stand so to speak. Now; the next thing that might happen is the men coercer ed them into it; than back to square one you all go. Don't look at me I don't believe in it.

In times of war Muslim women have been know to take up arms. Look at the PKK in Iraq and Turkey and in Palestinian women in Palestine. Though Al Qaeda deny it, women do take part in the fighting. The women have protested at being ignored.

Who knows what social forces will drive changes in Muslim countries?

In a society where women don't have the rights of a camel, maybe suicide is preferable.  I mean, how would you like to live like that?  Gawd !

Or... maybe because women are raised to be so servile, recruiting them for suicide work may be pretty easy.

I've thought about their motivations.  If men are incented to martyr themselves to receive the favors of dozens virgins, what is in it for the women martyrs?  A chance at reincarnation as a male?

No, it just means that the advocates and organizers of suicide bombings a) Are too afraid to do the task themselves and are therefore hypocrites; and b) View women as more expendable than men.
