Actually I wish people wouldn't ask this question. I feel like it jinx's the Wings. Having said that, it will be very difficult to repeat, but if anyone can in this day and age, I think the Red Wings have a very good chance. The team is essentially the same w/ one or two additions that can only make them better.

First things first! Lets get everyone signed (Cheli, Quincey, McCarty, Downey?! Then lets see who makes the roster and who is sent to GR or traded... then lets see if they can win their division and and clinch the West. You got a whole season ahead of you thats played for playoff placement. Lets take it one step at a time. The playoffs are the second season. I am all about the regular season until then.

honestly i would say no, just because i dont like there goalies. i dont no why but i just couldnt see them winning the cup again next year.

They will do very good, aproximmitley ( in my opinion ) they will make the playoffs, but they will not win the stanley cup!

It's looking good so far.  They have most of their players back from last year, with only a couple of regulars retiring.  They're strong and look even stronger with the addition of Hossa.  Their defense will still be amazing, their offense is stronger, Ozzie will be solid every time he starts (even if it's only 50 times in the regular season).  Add it all up, and you get a great shot at a repeat.

They have a very good chance of course because in the off season they only upgraded and got an even better player. However I will not make my final prediction until a month before the playoffs begin.

No doubt president's trophy winner, but in the play-offs anything can happen.

They certainly have earned the right to be the favorite. On paper they have made great additions and lost nobody of any significance but hockey being a tough game makes it too hard to predict. A major injury to the likes of Lidstrom, Zetterberg or Datsyuk and the whole season changes. Just look at the season before, a couple injuries and they struggled. But given the talent and coaching along with incredible depth I have to believe they can repeat.
