Will the world ever run out of OIL??? If so, When??

It is predicted that oil will run out in about 30 to 40 years. That is why gas prices are increasing. Also, it is possible the world can run out of oil since oil is a non-renewable resource.

Yes, some day we will run out of oil, since it is a finite, nonrenewable resource.

Or, to be more accurate, the day will come when all the oil remaining in the world is buried so deeply or inaccessibly that to extract a barrel of oil would take more energy than a barrel of oil contains.

Nobody knows for sure when this will happen, but probably before the year 2100 barring major increase in the use of nuclear, solar, wind, hydro, or other forms of energy.

Well no one really knows. Saudi Arabia has not told us about how much oil they have. We are told that there is a shortage and that is why gas prices are so high but it seems a small amount of people are making a ton of money.
