Depends on whose world you are talking about - reality is random and your particular existence could end on 12/12/2012.. say, death by sleep deprivation from playing on Yahoo answers ;)

i don't think so coz someone predicted that the world would end in june or july this year n nothing has happened so i likely doubt it

It's either going to end or the Mayans will have to get a new calendar.  

(No other reason to think the world will end other than the Mayan calendar ending at that time. And I haven't seen to many of them around lately)
