Yeah it will that's the point of the new stadium: Luxury boxes.

Hank says he wants to build the tam up from the farm system, but i don't believe him... let other teams out bid the Yankees on established free agents, yeah right!

Yup, because they'll even sell out that Tuesday afternoon game against KC Royals. Everybody will want to go at least once.

The only thing that's gonna increase is the ticket & concession prices - somebody's gotta pay for it.

I think it'll drop some actually. Think about it. Abreu is probably gonna be gone, Giambi's contract is up after this season (what an albatross that is), they won't bring Pudge back and no one knows if Mussina and Pettitte will return. It should drop a little, especially if they commit to using some of their younger players instead of going after high-priced vets.

As for stadium pricing: Yeah, that's gonna be sad. You're gonna need to not make a car payment just to go to a Yankees game next season. But other teams with big payrolls have high ticket prices as well. It's a shame that so many fans are being priced out of the ballpark experience. I'll stay a Yankees fan, but it sucks that going to a game is gonna have to involve me donating plasma.
