  1. psst...there is already a master plan in place...

have u not heard, have u not seen, have u not guessed...

more is to come, the best is yet to be...

    be scared, be very scared...

you can run, but you can't hide,

every step u run or walk will be

    clicked...charged to your account

never mind, render to Caesar what is rightfully his...

  2. Wo.... You can definately bet on it!

  3. h**l yeah, i think not long for now bicycle will also have ERP and also for us to cross the road we have to insert cash card into the traffic light then can cross the road, everything is about money for the government

  4. Nope there will be no ETP but increasing of Train tickets price for sure. I can already smell it .......

  5. Oh my GOD! if we truly turn into "M" society it spells doom for all of us...

  6. ETP wont happen lah. They encourage its citizens to take the trains like Japan. If there is going to be an ETP, it must be some stupid scholar trying to be smart like how some of them who had design our highways which effectively pushes the inlet and outlet of the traffic so close to each other that it would create jams like Clementi Avenue 6. Then in order to cover their own *** of poorly designed highways, they have ERPS. But  then they also try to widen the roads in hope to ease the traffic. When all things failed, increase the price of the ERP again and again lor. The final poor souls are the people who paid their government high salaries so that their public servants can be driven around and live in closer proximity to their offices without entering the highway. In another words, people who designed our flats and trains and roads are not the people who would used them as often. So how would they understand how people outside their proximity live and die? No... they think they understand... but they have no idea. They just read us from a pack of data. Ironically who generate these data? Again it is the people who drives through the highways. Is the people who take the trains. Get our public servants to come live with us, eat with us, drive like us for the next 10 years and you will see situation changed. Wishful thinking of course. Most of them would never truly want to live among us.

  7. sorry some errors there. ERP = Everyday Rob People or some say Every Road Pay. and ETP (if implemented) should be Everyday 'Tok' People

  8. Singapore is becoming an M shaped society. From what i've read from all you, i think its going to happen. Maybe not tomorrow or the day after. But someday, just someday, when they get the idea in their heads. "Hey! Let's implement ETP!" and everyone responds "Why not?"

If anyone here doesn't know what's an M shaped society, i left the link down below.

  9. it might happen... anything that can make money.... singapore will implement it.....

  10. Hey! There had better be no ETP since my dad has been complaining how terrible it is already with the ERP thingy. Well, if it really happens, think there will be a difference of fewer human jams. lol

  11. what country or city pairs is this referring to?  what is ERP?

pls update, and ill try to help

  12. Don't be surprised the govt might just do so

  13. Well, been living here all my life..gone are the days, where crowded places are hard to come by..(here in singapore, can you believe it!!..)..was brought up in QUIET part of Toa Payoh (& that's the central of the city state, supposingly the crowded area)..I cannot imagine if singapore hit the 6 million population mark..it is far too crowded for this small state..from my observation, with increase in population, come a higher level of stress & competition..it is bad enough that we,singaporean work too hard & sacrifice our family life for the sake of providing comfortable life for our family..(in which I applaud the sacrifice made)..at the rate we are going, yes I hate to admit it the population will undeniably hit the 6 million mark..no doubt about it..hence I hate to say this, there might be a quota on human traffic once it gets too crowded..on that footnote, with the high number of people, comes greater competition to survive..with most family on a dual income status, its the younger generation that will have to fight for survival..forget EQ,forget the arts & culture...money talks!!..I will not be surprise, give it 5 to 15 years from now...there will be no such thing as middle-income family...there will be only 2 tier..the haves & the haves not...if you don't believe me...look around you (the signs are obvious)..the upcoming I.Rs..the high end residential developments..F1 racing...do you think it is cater to the common folks??..its a mean to attract high nett worth individuals,to entice them to call singapore home & bring along their wealth..Singapore will eventually be the future palyground of the wealthy...& the rest will just be statistics...God Bless...(hope I will be dead by then, rather then see my beloved country going down this path)..

  14. ERP = Electronic Road Pricing

  15. ETP? Then why don't we say there's EBP for buses too?

I don't think the government will inplement it, though little increase in fare may happen.

Use a bicycle, environmental friendly :)

  16. Oh My God, will my beloved dog be ERPed, i wouldn't wanna be charge for bring dog to the park for relieved !!

I think i better seek enlightenment soon.

To the divine west here i come !

  17. The ERP is very successful in enhancing family life because most will be stuck at home to avoid the ERP.  Similarly, an ETP will do wonders to improve family life and societal cohesion as people change lifestyle to accomodate the Electronic ( whatever ) Pricing.  Briliant.

  18. I think ETP and EHP is both highly likely

  19. Not at all.It will NEVER HAPPEN,PLEASE.

  20. Why do you say that the ERP is successful when there are still so much jams in S'pore?

No, there won't be.  Why spend money to build gantries when all you need to do is to just increase the MRT trip fares? Besides, there are no other alternative routes for the trains to take - they can only go on their designated rail way tracks. Duh.

  21. Every Singaporean is basically born to feed our Government enormous appetite for money. Mandatory high pay without the consent (voting system) of PEOPLE should be deem as legal corruption, since taking without asking is commonly define as STEALING.

They are simply milking on credits left by the retired old ministers. The way I see it, even if some capable party took over the house from the PAP. The Sh*t hole left over by them is simply too hard to fill-up. There, they will blame the opposition for incompetent.

For instant, Mah initial mention of privatizing HDB now commonly known as Subana, will lead to cheaper public housing due to competition (with who, I don’t know). End result, we have shortage of housing everywhere but the North East (tactic I think is to ensure the population quota hit the ideal figure to justify their elaborate spending on the water front) set aside the growing price tag of a HDB (Subsidies? Do you really believe on that?).

In short, Singaporean is like a white rat enclosed in a confinement and they erect dozen of blockages to ensure that all go in accordance to where it convenience their work the most. So, is this what we are paying for??? Are they supposed to be the “Public Servant” or we the PUBLIC that became the servant of the Government???

As for ETP. It is highly possible, if it come to a time when another Minister try to be creative and impress the Old Papa.

  22. There will probably be EHP(Electronic Human Pricing) as  well. Everytime you set out of your house, you will be charged. You enter certain buildings(probably with a human quota), you will be charged, cross a road you will be charged,

    Probably everyone will microchipped.

This is so to control the human jam from occuring for the population may exceed 6 million for limited land space there is.

To the future human pricing, here we come...

  23. Certainly the govt is doing alot of things to control our wealth, by imposing tax, raising GST and ERP. I wont deny the possiblity of have even Electronic Train or Human pricing when the population is growing too big, however, you may have undermine the power of M=money. Rich ppl do not always neccessary will stay in Singapore for too long if the odds are working against them. likewise, rich singaporeans may not stay for too long as well as they are educated and would know what is call blood-sucking..

But i do know that the govt do not monitor forum like this or even listening to us. what we can do now is only lie down there and be slaughter slowly for money. We cannot generate results just by complaining here. We need action if we want some thing to be done. We need to let the govt know that we are unhappy abt this. However, we will not be like DR Chee soon quan who have directly confronted LKY. but usually what singaporean do? just complain but still accept the pricing. I believe you reap what u sow. If u wan to complain, make sure it is heard. Other wise, just be contented with your life and continue to be exploit by the govt.

    I rest my case.

  24. Very sad that we have to come down to this. I am appalled by the inconsideration and the inconsistencies in polices by the government.

At first, they slam COE to cut down car population, then it's ERP to help cut down congestion.. but extending it to the heartlands and up to 10.30pm in some gantries is unforgiveable. All that talk about improving family and quality of life etc etc is bullshit.

Our kids struggle everyday to keep up with the education system, we work so hard everyday to pay the bills, there's less space, more people, more competition, more stress.... prices keep going up, salaries the same.. what quality of life are we talking about?

We are just struggling to keep our heads above water. We would love to have more children but seriously, can an average middle income Singaporean family afford it? What future does the children when competition is so intense?

Somehow it just seem like we will have to pay just for standing space.. that is so pathetic.

  25. Based on the LTA blueprint up to 2020, they will have at least 4 other lines other than the existing EW, NS, NEL and Circle line.

(Honestly, if all the new lines are all underground works, Singapore might really float off, and become a "sunny island... out in the sea...")

    I consulted my crystal ball:

    - LTA announces a new transport company to make public transport  more competitive.

    - We will later find out this company is the most L of the GLCs.

    -  As there are so many transport companies now, to ensure the excessive revenue don't s***w their accounts, you will have new "gantries" at every interchange.

How this for a look into the future?
