  1. Yes there always is. An opening ceremony and a closing ceromony. It always depends how extravangant they are though. They think Beijing's opening ceremony was the best ever in history. Apparently they dropped a girl from the dancing squad because she wasn't pretty enough, but when you noticed our little UK part in the Beijing closing ceremony we showed it how it was in London. I admire Britain for that.

  2. Of-course. They will be opened by the Queen or if she has passed away, King Charles or William will be at the opening ceremony!

  3. I think there will be.

  4. of course they arent not gonna do one its tradition it may not be as big as chinas but there will still be one

  5. Of course there will.

  6. Yes - they are lining up Chas 'n' Dave as the main act.

  7. Of course.

There is always an opening and closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.

(And that's what makes the Olympic Games an interesting event for many people).

  8. Of course, but let's not hope it was like the performance London gave at the Beijing closing ceremony. A  big, red bus, and some no-name idol winner. Fancy putting her alongside Jimmy Page. Culturally, it makes you wonder what exactly can the Brits offer, apart from fish and chips and soccer.

  9. no they just start playing

  10. Every Olympics starts with an opening ceremony and ends with a closing ceremony. I'm excited about London 2012 opening ceremony now even though there is still 4 years to go. It will be so different from the one in Beijing. Hopefully it is as good as Beijing 2008. :)

  11. yes there will be, it will cool none the less
