Despite several e-mails to the Embassy there hasn't yet been an answer.

    Bad as it was September 11 2001  was not actually when history began.

    November 11th is armistice day in the UK.  A time at which we remember our fallen.

    It originates from the end of the first World War at 11am, on the 11th day, of  the 11th month (November) 1918 and is the time and date at which this Country chooses to honour its war dead.
