Will there be a change in the points lead after this week's race at Infineon ?

Burton

but the lineup is right the opposite

With Burton having the best shot at the points lead. So...???

At a road course anything can happen. With Kyle starting in the back I expect Jeff Burton to take the points lead.

kyle may be starting further behind the other two, but the average finishes at sonoma are:

burton: 19.4

busch: 19.7

junior: 22.0

and the power rankings coming in still show busch up front - in all three series.

I think it wold be cool if Burton took the points lead.  

Burton is one of those guys that gives you no reason to hate and is just chill.

Earnhardt WILL NOT have this points lead after Sears Point. Burton is good at road tracks, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him get up there past Kyle.

Well, if Kyle's car is any indication of how the race will go for him, then I will say yes.

He was fortieth fastest in practice, and didn't qualify so good. They have a lot of work to do on that car through the coarse of the race to get it right. I'm sure he is unhappy to say the least.

I think that Burton would have the better chance to take the lead than Jr. Burton's worst finish this year so far has been fifteenth, and he doesn't do too badly in the road coarses.

But, if the race comes down to fuel strategy like last year, than anything can happen.
