  1. It will have to return to a lower price otherwise peoples salaries are going to have to increase by as much as 30% to reach parity! You cannot increase prices by 40% for all necessities, and leave workers pay at the lower levels! This causes too few dollars chasing after prices that are just too expensive!

  2. probably not unless everyone suddenly lost half of their money

  3. Not likely...

Gas prices have trended up like a staircase. It goes up, stabilizes, goes up a bit more, stabilizes. Right now we're going up and I do not think like it'll stabilize until it reaches $150-$200  the barrel of crude.

Gas prices are relative. 3.70 in NJ, about 4.50 in California, 4.45 in Vancouver, 8-10 USD dollars in Europe and Brazil Ethanol in Brazil is about 1/2, even with Ethanol in every pump in Brazil, gas prices are still about market.

  4. No.  That level in the 1999 time frame was an artificially low level anyway, sort of like the dot com bust.  It's possible we might see 2.00 per gallon again, but I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope for that even.  2.50 is probably about the best we're ever likely to see again.

  5. i dont think it will. other than the stocks its rare to see something that went up so high in price to come back down.

  6. When Jesus is resurected, and we kill him for proclaiming himself the messiah.

  7. let's hope so!

  8. If it does, you won't want to be around after THAT financial crash.

  9. in your dream.

  10. unlikely.

it keeps going up and i have never seen the price going down in my entire life.

  11. No.  Those days are gone forever.  Unless.....we have rampant deflation.  But then your salary will be reduced to $.50 per hour .

  12. Only if you give me best answer so I get the 10 points otherwise... forget it!!!

  13. I am sorry but no. Just being honest.

  14. Of course!

The same day that AMERICA finds an alternate source.

    Supply and demand... baby!

  15. hopefully...
