Yes (TEAM) Handball has been apart of every Olympics since 1972 for the men and 1976 for the women. Handball will have a 12 team tournament for both men and women.

Men- GROUP A- France, Brazil, China, Croatia, Poland, Spain

           Group B- Russia, South Korea, Iceland, Germany, Denmark, Egypt

                  Group B- Brazil, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, Germany, Hungary.
