Will there be a mercedes c class bluetec diesel coming out?

I love the new 2009 mercedes c class sedan and was wondering if they were going to make a bluetec diesel version of it soon. If you find any information please list your source, thanks

I heard on the news recently that they are bringing them to the U.S. soon. Sorry, not exactly a reliable source. As the owner of a diesel, are you sure you want to pay extremely high prices for diesel fuel?? The U.S. hates diesels and is doing everything it can to get them off the road.

Probably not, in the near future. The new Bluetec is a "wet" system that injects a urea solution into the exhaust to break down Nox into harmless compounds, and Bluetec vehicles need an additional storage tank for the AdBlue solution. There isn't enough space in the new C-Class for the extra tank.
