Will there be a new generation of ipod? if yes, when will it be?

I have a 300dollar gift card to bestbuy because my 4th gen ipod broke but it was still under warranty. im wonderring if i shud buy a 16 gig touch by paying 100extra dollars or wait until new generation of ipods come out and the touch prices go down.

when will the new ipods come out? and will it come out?

I recommend you buy a 2G iPod Touch. They don't come out till September though, but they're talking about having a lot of new cool features that other iPods (including the iPod Touch 1G) didn't have. I think it'll be worth the wait and the price (which, of course, depends on how many gigabytes you get).
