Will there be a new model of IPOD coming out anytime soon?

There'ss the IPOD nano, shuffle, the new nano capable of holding videos, video, phone, and touch. and the last time i got an ipod(the old style of ipod nano) like that next christmas they came out with the new ipod nano. so right now i kind of want a new ipod, but i was just wondering if anyone knows about a newer version of the ipod coming out here soon, even if its next year.

The ipod is out dated as most mp3 players since phones started playing music. I saw on a news broadcast that the prices are dropping rapidly because nobody wants them anymore. I bet there will be a gazillion different iphones because that is their main focus now.

honestly and seriously.. they come out with a new ipod each year.. so when you get it once it comes out.. by the 11th month a new one would probably be announced.
