Will there be a price drop anytime soon?

I really want to get one, but they are pretty expensive, i don't know if they are going to to drop when that 2009 thing happens. Any suggestions on what to do?

I am assuming you are talking about purchasing a house. You should do some research and projection or talk to a professional consultant to give you an insight on what the market is like in Real Estate. As far as I know, it's a great opportunity to buy a house now if you are financially well off.
