Will there be another earthquake in chino hills soon?

Question

there was a 5.4 earthquake and i was home alone scared to death. i was in chino hills, where the earthquake started. i was playing my guitar on the couch. i dont want another earthquake. will there be another one soon?

supposly I hear that there might be an earthquake with magnitude of 7.0 or more on the next 30 years and with this earthquake just happening they say this might have been a  foreshock which meens that this big one might happen even sooner than we were thinking, and I live in L.A. and I sure hope that another earthquake doesnt happen anytime soon

There is really no way of telling, but the best thing you can do is stay calm and be prepared. We all hope for the best, that it has all ended but it is always good to be alert. For now the thing you need to do is make sure you have an emergency kit ready. I live in Barstow and we had one earlier today like at 5:04 in the morning. I didn't feel that one though.  I know your nerves are probably a bit rattled but the best thing in a situation of the sort is to remain calm. Panicking is what usually gets ones into trouble.  If you still feel uneasy it may help to have a relative or a close friend stay with you so you can feel a bit safer. Hope this helps : )

yeah, i live in chino hills to and was eating my lunch and was pretty scared.  i dont think there will be another as big though (hope not), the most a few aftershocks so dont worry :}

I hope not, I just want another quake below  5.4- which I mean under 5.0...... maybe under 4.0, so maybe there is not going to be one

this quake might have been a fore shock (if it was that means that there will be an even bigger one)

OR

there might be after shocks and they will be smaller than this one or so small you wont even feel them, there have already been like 20 aftershocks but nothing beg yet (all of these after shocks coul be smaller foreshocks

The chance of this earthquake being a fore-shock to a bigger earthquake is only 5%, and only 1% after 24hours have passed, so don't worry too much.

only time will tell... but omg i got scared lol... i was in the library at school.. cal state fullerton.. and everything started to shake and it was kinda funny cuz we all freaked out and we didnt know what to do lol.. we tried to go under tables like they always taught us to do at school... and then the alarm went off and we evacuated and school was canceled which is cool cuz i had a test
