I am very scared of John McCain... Do you really want another 4 years of Bush mistakes? McCain isn't the right man for the job. He is old and out of touch will the WORKING class people!!!!

Nice question, but to give you your answer, there will probably be just as many or more people at the RNC as there were at the DNC.  Contrary to popular belief, there are very few hardline democrats or republicans.  Most people are moderates who fall in the middle.  While I am going to vote Republican, it's because I feel that McCain is a better choice than the inexperienced Obama.  McCain isn't my choice however, he's just the lesser of 2 evils in my opinion.  You mention a few things you claim I support in your post, so lets go one by one shall we:

1.  Tax cuts for the rich-  It's kind of hard to pay taxes on money that isn't in the U.S. as most of the rich tend to keep their money in foreign banks.  I haven't heard either candidate mention what they are going to do to change this.  I also feel that McCain is more for middle class tax cuts.  Obama says he will cut taxes, but I doubt it as many of the programs he would like to try to implement require large amounts of tax money.

2.  Tax cuts for big oil-See above, as most of the big oil corporations are not based in the U.S.  

3. The killing of 600,000 Iraqi women, children, and men- how many of his own citizens did Saddam Hussein kill?  While I agree with you that this war shouldn't have been started for the alleged reasons it was started for, we shouldn't just leave either.  We made this mess, right or wrong, and the proper thing to do is to clean it up and leave a stable government in place.

4.  30,000+ wounded US troops- As someone who served in the 82nd and keeps track of military history, our ratio of wounded to this point compared to Vietnam is significantly less, as are the number killed.  That's a soldiers job, to put themselves in harms way whether or not they agree with the reason they are fighting.  Those are the risks associated with combat.  While I think that the reason for this is stupid, it is now something that has to be done.  If you want to know the truth though, this should have been done in 1991 when we had the support of the vast majority of the people of Iraq.  However, the U.N. butted in and convinced G.H.W. Bush that leaving Saddam in power was the right thing to do.  Oops, now we are really paying for that one as the U.S. lost a lot of credibility after that little incident.

5. 4,200+ troops killed- see above

6.  No money for schools- Education is actually the responsibility of the states, not the federal government.  Have you ever read the Constitution?  The duties and responsibilities of the state governments vs. the federal government are clearly spelled out in it.  Federal involvement in education has resulted in a very messed up system that doesn't function properly.  

7.  No money for the homeless-  Where does it say anywhere in the Constitution that the federal government is supposed to take care of the homeless?  Once again, that falls to the states.  Welfare was a system that came into effect during the great depression, as was social security.  Providing for the homeless would strain available tax funds for other federal functions, such as federal law enforcement.  Not to mention, the last time I checked, that was a socialist ideal and the U.S. isn't a socialist country.  

8.  No money for solar, wind...- On this one I actually agree with you.  However, Obama won't be able to pull it off as big oil has padded the pockets of many Republicans and Democrats.  The special interest groups get the most support on Capital Hill, while we, the tax paying citizens usually get ignored by those elected to represent us.  No, I don't think my vote will give America a black eye.  I do think that it will give us someone who could handle a credible threat from Russia, Korea, China, Iran, or anywhere else.  The comment of Mr. Obama that Iran was just a small country and didn't pose much of a threat to the U.S. just shows how ignorant he really is to foreign affairs.

It would be wonderful if Obama is who he says he is, however, I'm not convinced he really even knows what he's getting himself into.

Tax cuts for the rich is a good thing, who do you think owns and invests in the businesses that Americans work at? The poor? Low taxes for everyone is even better.

Tax cuts for big oil, tax incentives are good, they allow for a cheaper product. Corporations don't pay taxes, they pass them on to consumers, do you like paying $4 per gallon of gas? I don't.

600,000 dead Iraqi's, that number has been debunked over and over and over again for the last 2 years. Time to brush up on current events.

Troops die in war, would you have said the same thing during WWII when 2,000-4,000 died per month?

Solar, wind, thermal, and ethanol are all ridiculously inefficient energy sources. If it can't survive in the free market without government subsidies, than it's not a viable alternative. As is the case with solar, wind, thermal, ethanol. Plus ethanol is skyrocketing food prices that directly affects the poor.

I totally agree with everything you said except your use of the term "mistakes".  As Bush pretty much said, he doesn't make any mistakes, or at least his brain damaged psychopathic mind can't remember them.  He did everything on purpose.  He is an evil man.
