High priced oil not only effects freight companies, but also any manufacturer that uses many chemicals. When only the largest companies are left, what prices will we pay for everything because of the inflated oil price as well as the lack of competition between businesses offering the same services and/or products? Many freight carriers are going out of business now. Trains are being used more but trucks are still needed for deliveries to places who do not have a rail dock.

  1. but you're hurting the earth....

The great global warming hoax strikes again.

I own a small business and it is causing us much harm.  It is my opinion that our economy isn't in horrible shape during this slowdown though it might get a bit worse.  Again, my opinion only, I think we will recover quickly and our economy will have to absorb this latest pain delivered by the global warming hoax community.

However, I don't know how much pain we can continue to absorb.  The ecoterrorist seem h**l bent on destroying business in general.
