Will there be pagefile use in the future?

With the advent of more and more ram, will there eventually be a time when pagefiling is pointless?

It would be nice, but programs are expanding their memory requirements too - just look at Vista! So what will probably happen in the short term is taht RAM will increase and RAM requirements will increase which means that page file requirements will increase too: you'll have 256GB RAM but you'll need 1TB swap space (pagefile).
