I use soft toric 66 contact lenses and I just want to know if there'd be any problems if I keep using the same set of contacts instead of disposing them every 2 weeks like I'm supposed to.

  1. They're disposable for a reason. Lots of people do make them last longer and I suppose you might get away with it for a while but do you really want to risk the health of your eyes? Just take a look at some of the horrible complications that can occur if you mistreat contacts

  2. The lenses are designed to be replaced every 2 weeks. Keeping the lenses over that amount of time isn't very good for them. I know that when I get close to my 2 weeks that my contacts feel scratchy and not as comfortable. They have been through a lot and they are only supposed to be for two weeks. Now you can keep them fr more than two weeks if you do not wear them every day. Technically, the lenses are made for 14 uses. So if you didn't wear them one day, it wouldnt count as a day. They can be stored for up to 30 days in a lens case with solution. Hope this helps!
