  1. It is true that Tiger hasn't yet broken the important records. But that is inevitable provided he doesnt get hurt.  And he's going to demolish them before hes done.  I'm not some Tiger lover, but I'm a golf professional and a realist.  This will sound silly but Tiger is actually underrated.  The common fan cant comprehend how good this guy is and how absurd his career has been so far.  He'll play and continue to win events for another 10-15 years.  By that time, he will have numbers that will be extremely difficult to imagine besting. I'm sure though if the world keeps spinning, someone will come along.

  2. He hasn't set any records yet except for cuts made and winning the us open by 15 shots.  He will break all records soon..I don't think anyone will break his in our lifetime when they're set.  He'll win over 20 majors and 100 tournaments.  That will be tough to beat, but who knows?

  3. Records are made to be broken.

  4. There is a great difference in golf from the time of Hogan and Snead.  There are so many highly able players that any given week any one of them could win a tournament.  So many of the pros were not truly athletes. I recall some years ago many of the players were chain smokers (Arnie was) and pot bellied.  Many made jokes about their alcohol consumption. Recall Nicklaus was just plain fat coming out of Ohio State. I think he slimmed down when he saw the new athletes coming in. And with his extreme talent went on to be the best of his time. They could hit the ball but could not sustain the high quality. They would just get on a run and win a tournament. In todays game those guys would be shut out altogether. So Tiger is playing against better players and the whole world, nearly, is producing good young golfers. The competition is fierce. So Tiger has an even more remarkable run that it would seem.

  5. i think if tiger keeps focused and plays with the same level of consistency for the next 10 years he will set records that will never ever be equaled. this man is not only the greatest golfer in the world,he is probably the greatest sportsman that has ever walked the planet! genius is a word thrown about lightly but in tigers case he truely is a master craftsman and we are very lucky to be living in his time to witness his dominance!

  6. Records are made to be broken.

  7. Let's put it this way, Tiger could possibly be the best overall athlete in history.  You are watching a phenomenon.  No one has started at a sport as young as him, been as committed to excellence as him, put in the time and effort as him, had the greatest support from his parents, raised with all the right morals and ethics, etc.  While people don't necessarily see golf as a sport since it's not "physical", it is and I think he will continue to pursue excellence in a "sport" that defies excellence.  What is a perfect score or record in golf?  It's easy to assess in other sports but not so in golf.  While I continue to search for someone that can challenge him, I have failed in my efforts (and lost some money in bets along the way).  I've chosen not to bet against him but to root for him to break all the records possible.  Cheers!

  8. I think valentino rossi will find it very easy to beat tiger woods...

  9. h**l Ya

  10. I think his records will start to be beat within the next ten years.  Some of the records will take time and has taken him up to eight years to beat the previous holders records.  Tiger doesn't hold that many records as of now, he is on his way to the top though.  He ought to start playing more tournaments he wants on the top, with this weeks tourney not counting toward any PGA records and Tiger only playing around ten PGA sanctioned and governed events, he still has 21 more wins to go before he will top Sam Sneads record.  On the Records list I only counted 5-6 records held by Tiger, he is in the top five in many of them but still has a long ways to go.

  11. As much as I would like to say no, I think there will be.  With the technology in golf advancing so quickly, who knows what pros of the future will be shooting.  People didn't think that another Jack would come along...but obviously that's not the case.

  12. Probably someday but not in our lifetime. Tiger will probably end up with 25-30 majors and over 100 tour victories. He is amazing.

  13. Of course there will be after all he hasnt beaten allt he records yet himself. NO GRAND SLAM despite waht the yanks think to qualify it has to be in the same year. He is burnt out now anyway. Always was gonna be a short reign i could beat him with a beer bottle lol
