My colors are pink and brown. It is a light pink with a dark brown. But lately a lot of stuff I am getting have been more of a fushcia (hot pink). Is it okay to have these three colors mixed? Will it look pretty?

  1. ummm..... i wouldnt like the two together but i would have to see it.

  2. I think that they will look fine together.  The brown that I would use for that combination is more of a chocolate brown (not too dark and not too light).  Try to use the brown in more of a satin finish instead of a matte finish, so the pink colors will pop against it.  Ex:  a chocolate brown satin table linen with a light pink napkin and fushcia napkin holder.  Then for the centerpieces you would be able to mix any type of pink flowers in.

  3. I think it will great! This combo is very popular right now and would look great for a fall wedding. Congrats!

  4. I think it'd look beautiful :)

You should go to theknot.com and browse through the pictures by colour.

It could be a lot of help!

  5. Yes, I think it will look good.  The hot pink will give it "pizazz".  Maybe just use it as an accent for the most part.

  6. Please don't dislike me for this opinion, because seriously, that's all it is... My opinion. Take it or leave it. I think that pink and brown are really not good colors for anything formal. Light pink with silver or white for weddings, but I don't know about brown and pink. Hot pink wouldn't really improve it, but I don't think that it could really ruin it either. Anyways, congratulations on the wedding, and good luck!

  7. I think it'll look beautiful!

  8. yes its okay to have these colors mixed pink and brown go together just like light blue and brown go together. so don't worry about the colors if they look good to you then wear it. who cares about what poeple think.

  9. Yes it will look great!! I just hosted an event with those colors and it was great!!! Everybody loved it!!

  10. could you show me a picture? The mix is nice. I had fuchia for my wedding but  i had no brown in it. if u want to see how my flowers looked for an idea ill be glad to show ya.

  11. I went to a chocolate brown and pink wedding last year and it was great!

I think fushia would be a good accent color.

  12. Yeah I think those three colors will look great together.

  13. Honestly... it's your wedding, you need to go with what you like best. I wanted to do pink and brown for my wedding this June, but being in the summer and I got married on the beach in Aruba, i wanted more sunset beachy colors. I ended up going with a carribean blue and mango orange. The dresses were the blue/green and they had mango callas and they guys Tommy Bahama shirts had a bit lighter blue, but same family of colors. So i tied the two blues in with other accents in my wedding (the wedding cake had a ribbon to match the girls, around the girls waist i had a lighter blue to match the blue in the guys shirts)

I've been to many weddings were they've done 3 colors. As long as the two pinks are in the same family of pinks it'll be fine. Just make sure the two don't clash (one having more of an orangish hugh while one has more red in it.)

Hope this helps. Check out www.theknot.com or www.brides.com for tons of pictures and ideas!

    Congrats!
