We do have an occasional tremor here, but they are very slight.  I remember two in the last thirty years.  The first i never felt because i was in my truck at the time.  I never noticed the second either and on the news they were looking for damages.  all they could come up with was a stack of cans that fell over in a grocery store.

There is the potential , but it would not likely be anywhere near as severe as the ones that you see in California.  

btw, those two quakes I mentioned registered less than 4.0 on the richter scale.
