Not unless Affliction goes under and the UFC buys them out like they did to Pride.

and for the guy who says Affliction has Sylvia under contract, you're misinformed because he's just takin a break from his UFC contract and will be returning there sometime.

No - all these organizations are really protective of their titles and their fighters, but UFC more than any other.

You won't see Affliction fighters, Dream fighters, K-1 or any others against UFC guys because Dana/Zuffa want their organization to be the top organization out there for PPV and cable viewership.  So far they are doing a good job of it.

I imagine that Affliction would love to put some of their top guys in the ring with UFC guys - Fedor, of course - but also Arlovski, Sylvia, Belfort - they have plenty of former champions from the UFC and other organizations.

Affliction has some top notch heavyweights but their lower weight classes are pretty barren.  WEC which is basically UFC junior, has the top guys in lightweights and mids and lhw are UFC guys...

I'm thinking UFC will have to bring in more fighters in the HW's and buy out some Affliction contracts, but they won't ever unite.

No, but the UFC may outright buy Affliction's promotion rights and fighter contracts from them like they did to Pride FC.

actually, funny enough, in an interview after the ufc card last saturday, anderson silva said in an interview he would like to see UFC's champions or a UFC "team" take on the best fighters out there...

When asked of this Dana White smiled but conceded that it would be a long shot.
