Will there still be beach volleyball in the rain? ?

I don't keep track with beach volleyball year round so I don't know if the athletes have or do still compete if it is raining. I know if there is lightning it will be canceled.

Yes, if it's raining the beach volleyball athletes will keep competing until it gets impossible such as hurricane-like weather or lightning.If you watched both the men's and women's beach volleyball competition towards the beginning of the olympics, both teams had to play in the rain. Yes, they play during a downpour and lightening at the Olympics in Beijing. NBC had a camera struck by lightening during one of the US beach volleyball matches.  They replayed what happened for the public here later.
