I have the following equipment:

*Harmon/kardon AVR-146 (Reciever)

*Klipsch Quintet III (Speakers)

*Klipsch Sub 10 (Subwoofer)

*Monster Speaker Wire/Cable (Speakers and Subwoofer)

I want to connect my Samsung Blu-ray Disc Player to my reciever using the 6-Channel Analog Audio Connection.

Will these cables make a difference on my system? (See link)

  1. Yes, but they won't make as big of a difference as the speaker wire did.

This doesn't seem like a very good test...

  2. You will gain very little, if any at all; better sound or video quality.  I would save your $$$ and look at Bluejeanscables.com.

  3. Hi. I am also very critical of my audio. If you are using top quality equipment all cables affect the sound going through them.Actually, cables are the weakest link in the Hi.Fi.

chain. The best cable is NO cable. The ideal Cable does not change the signal travelling through it in ANY WAY.No cable can improve the sound of a system, they only make it worse in varying degrees. All cables will make a difference to a sound system , but, until you "hear them" you won't know if the sound is better or worse than what you used before. I found this out the hard way !

  4. That is 6 channel analog, the cables will not make a difference.

  5. No. Generic cables will be just fine. If you dont believe me, read this article below. The whole premium cable industry is a scam. Any cable you buy will meet the industry standards.
