Will these deliver all the sound to one (or both) ears if I switch the mono switch?

I think I know what you mean.  If you switch them to mono, all of the sound you get will be evenly distributed between both sides of the headphones.  Stereo effects, like fading from the left to the right will be gone,  and the sound coming out of both speakers will be exactly the same at all times.  Hope that helps.
