  1. hiding places is not the answer, It sounds like you are going into this quickly? If that's the case, slow down. You want to create a peaceful environment, not a war zone where fish are hiding. Lionfish are lionfish, if they get hungry they will eat anything that fits in their mouth. clownfish are extremely territorial and can take over and disrupt an entire tank. I'd be worried about the shrimp with the puffer and the trigger won't be a baby forever. The seahorses sound doomed as well. You can also check out saltwaterfish.com for some easy compatibility. Just remember, it's not really "fight". With fish it's usually eat or be eaten.

  2. Just how big is your tank?  The lion fish will try to eat everyone else.

  3. No.  These fish will prove to be too much competition for the seahorses in getting food.

How long have you had these fish?  You might want to keep an eye on the pufer as it might be too aggressive toward the other critters.

A lion fish will most likely eat the shrimp and any other fish that it can get it's large mouth around.

The only elephant nose I'm aware of is a fresh water fish, and isn't good for most community tanks.  They emit an electrical discharge when searching for food, and possibly when they feel threatened, that can be dangerous to other fish, especially smaller ones.
