Basically im looking to buy a blaupunkt THA 555 PnP amplifier simply because of its plug and play mode ( has a wire harness that can attach to my stock navigation system and harness takes car of everything power input output )

im also looking into buying some blaupunkt speakers aswell

the amp gives out RMS power (4 ohms) 4 x 55 W / 1 x 200 W

the speakers im planning to buy are

System: 2-Way Component

Nominal power handling: 50 Watt

2 of them for the front doors

System: 2-Way Coaxial

Nominal power handling: 45 Watt

2 of them for the back doors

System: Subwoofer

Nominal power handling: 220 Watt

One of them for the boot

will this all work together with the amp is there a chance of anything blowing i have looked at the max power and the speakers all have a higher max power than the amp can give out thanks

  1. You will need two sep. amps. One for speakers and one for subs but the amp you have is fine for them just get two.

  2. Don't even bother to read the other post,he didn't even bother to look and see that it's a 5 channel amp.

You don't need to look at max power, RMS is what is important. We need to know what speakers you are looking at to really give an accurate answer.

Please post some links to the specs of the speakers and sub.
