  1. Why would someone want to do that?

  2. No, not a chance. You'll be lucky if the recruiter doesn't physically remove you from his office.

  3. First off to everyone saying you're a shame to your country blah blah blah. It's bullshit. They shouldn't judge you simply because of a tattoo, I'm sure some of them don't judge homosexuals and there are plenty who join the Marines. Or the felons and criminals who also join. You are much better than they are. Try covering up the swastika, making it into another design. At MEPS they will ask for a description of your tattoo and the doctor will see it for the medical review (duck walk, heel walk, physical exam, etc) so it can DQ if they see the swastika. So cover it up, make it into something else, if of course you want to. You may not want to cover it up if it stills means something to you. I know my boyfriend has his swastika on his arm and didn't cover it up to join the Army, his waiver went through, but that was a while back. He's not in the Army anymore, he's in NSM (http://www.nsm88.org).

    Good luck brother! 88

  4. No they will not..and why would you wish to join the USMC with that on your body?

  5. You'll fit in better in state or federal prison.

    Have fun.

  6. Effective 1 April 2007, paragraph 1004.1c of MCO P1020.34G, Marine Corps uniform regulations, is cancelled and replaced with the following paragraph. "... Marines are prohibited from:

Tattoos or brands on the head and neck. Sleeve tattoos are likewise prohibited. A sleeve tattoo is a very large tattoo, or a collection of smaller tattoos, that covers or almost covers a person’s entire arm or leg. Half-sleeve or quarter-sleeve tattoos that are visible to the eye when wearing standard PT gear (t-shirt and shorts) are likewise prohibited. A half-sleeve or quarter-sleeve tattoo is defined as a very large tattoo, or a collection of smaller tattoos that covers, or almost covers, the entire portion of an arm or leg above or below the elbow or knee. Tattoos or brands that are prejudicial to good order, discipline and morale, or are of a nature to bring discredit upon the Marine Corps are also prohibited. Prejudicial to good order, discipline and morale, or are of a nature to bring discredit upon the Marine corps may include, but are not limited to, any tattoo that is sexist, racist, vulgar, anti-American, anti-social, gang related, or extremist group or organization related."

    This should answer your question.

  7. Absolutely not; you are an embarrassment to your country.

  8. Why would want that on you in the first place...honestly? What are you thinking?

  9. You will need to contact a marine recruiter on this issue. Personally I would get it removed, it will save you alot of "A** Whippings".

  10. No.  It is considered a hate symbol similar to having gang-related tattoos and you will not be allowed to join.  Even if you have it removed you probably won't be allowed in because of the reasons you got it (I seriously doubt someone put a gun to your head and made you get it).  There is no room for racists in our military and if you aren't racist then you have some serious problems letting someone put something like that on your body.

  11. No, You will be lucky to get in the Marine Corps with any tattoo, But the Swastika would be considered as an affiliation with hate groups or gangs and more than likely disqualify. And like the others say, You would probably not want the type of attention you would get if you were allowed in. It would not be a very positive experience for you

  12. Not sure what the regs are now. But even if they do allow you to join YOU will Catch SH:T about it from everyone, because there is no way to hide it 24/7/365. Good Luck

@dded: Poor choice in Tats, Go spend about $800- $1500 to have it covered if is possible, leave the eagle but cover or remove the brother hood swastika. Be ready for Pain no mater what you do.
