Will they be ok?

Question

I have 2 cockatiel birds and they just layed 3 eggs....sometimes i will go over to the cage and one will be laying on them and then like five minutes later i will go back and they will be sitting on their perch not laying on the eggs...is that ok?....

My Cockatiels do the same thing but it's only when I'm being nosey and look into there nest box than they come out for about 10 min and goes back in or it could be there not done laying eggs and usually they won't start sitting on them til there all layed

Well obviously they are both a male and a female.  Mosty likely, Nothing will happen with the eggs. They will probably crack them open eventually.  That has happened to my bird - even when she was the only bird in the cage..

I would call your vet and ask if you should remove the eggs from the cage.

My advice though personally is to separate the birds - when a bird lays a lot of eggs it can harm them.  My cousin's bird had to have a complete hysterectomy.  True story!!
