I know coverage starts from 11.30pm on Channel 9 but I'm just wondering if they will air Hewitt's match instead? The Safin match is on centre court though and Hewitt's is not. Would apprecaite if anyone can advise.. ta

  1. i certainly hope so for your sake..

  2. hey jkbalen, thanks for the tip (I too am from aust)

in regards to watching the tennis coverage on espn360.com, do u have to be a USA resident to watch it. cause i tried going on their website and it ask you what internet service provider you are connected to?  All the options they give you are the USA internet service providers. Is there a way that you have gotten around it?

    thanks

  3. Sorry, haven't got a clue about the coverage in Australia... however I know you like both of them... so who are you supporting? :)

    Djokovic for me as always.

I see... thanks for your reply :))

  4. Hi, mate. I'm in Australia too, and I have the same problem. I go on espn360.com, it's the ant's pants. I always go their when I want to watch a match, so no worries mate, youcan go their, too.

    Good luck!

  5. Bad news honey.  The gods of tennis did a deal with sky tv a few years ago.  If you don't have cable, you won't get live anything.  Even the coverage from 11.30 is designed so you have to watch the world number 99998 play his last legs because he's an Aussie - but good luck seeing any of the top seeds.

My bet is you'll get Hewitt.

You should write nasty emails to the gods of tennis to tell them their tv arrangement with sky sucks.  Hopefully free to air will get a look in sometime again soon.

I go to the local footy club and watch on the big screen (and have a drink or three while I'm at it!).  So much for work tommorrow/
