Will they cancel school when gas hits six dollars?

is it truthatt they are going to cancel school when gas gets to six dollars? **** i hope so lol; bucus i hate school but still itll suck for ppl who ahave to pay for gas oh well walk hehe; but is it true tell me..

No, nothing is going to make any school close unless its real dangerous. And I don't really see gas getting that bad, at least this early in life. Its only 3.36 a gallon so far.

I think that school will be closed when the genetic bomb hits. The genetic bomb will last 9 months. The nuclear war will likely close the schools longer. Then the asteroid collision will certainly mess the schools up

I don't think they will cancel school, but I have heard of school districts consider making the school day longer and only going 4 days per week.

mabey because there might not be enough teachers to teach school because the gas prices went up and they really need gas and it is to far to drive so they stay home because they can't pay for gas.

Kids will have to find a different route to school, they will be telling their grandkids stories about how they had to walk to school in four feet of snow.

It is possible and certainly more than likely in some rural districts. Moreover, there are concerns for heating fuel in the winter.  Already, our school system has extended walking distance for high school kids (2 miles now instead of 1 mile).

They won't close school for the Apocalypse. But if gas hit that high, they might start rooming students during the week, and let you go home on weekends and holidays. For a price.

No. They might cancel some extracurricular activities to make up the cost. I don't see gas getting that bad, though. Its about $3.53 here and I can't see it climbing to $6.

some kids are on the bus over an hour and a half one way here....i hope they never have to  cancel the busses because most of them wouldnt get to go to school, and the majority of them would NOT do well being home schooled.

No.  The school bus companies might shut down due to the high gas prices but that would mean students would have to walk to school (like in the 1970s) or be home schooled.  Gas could even eventually be $10.00!
