Will they fight??????

Question

I just got a 10 gallon fish tank for my birthday ( July 23 ) and I already have 2 glo-fish and want to get to more and 2 tredas 1 cat fish and three gupies will all these get along or will the guppies srew things up? ( I really don't want to find out the hard way) :)

Are you talking about goldfish??? If you are, only 1 goldfish can live in a 10 gallon tank. They excrete too much waste. If you're not, all of the fish will get along perfectly fine. One thing though, if you weren't talking about goldfish what fish were you talking about???

first of all, to much fish in one 10 gallon tank (i just got one for my birthday june 24) and i put 7 fish in there and 3 or 4 died and one dissappeared (guppy) so to many fish. if you just started off, only put 2 fish in there. not goldfish. only 1 for goldfish. if you add them alll at once, the bacteria will overload and be hrmful to your fish, and the fish will not get along cuz they'll get teritorial. but yes theyll probably fight. start of with two or three fish, do water changes once a week (10%percent) and after 2 weeks and a couple more fish. but theyll probably fight.   sorry for the bad news!

Fish Tank Rule #1 at least 1 gallon of water per 1 inch of fish. Also keep in mind many fish may increase in size over time so make sure and find out how big they will get with a 10 gallon tank you probaly will not fit all those but assuming they are gold fish then u already have one too many. And work of advice most fish eat Guppies if you dont feed them on a regular schedule... and guppies reproduce very quickly. So keep that in mind. Make sure and do ur reseach before getting anymore fish.
